What are the working principles of Screw press?

Electric Screw press is widely used in motorcycle, automobile, high-speed Locomotive, aerospace and other manufacturing industries due to its characteristics of low noise during operation, high striking efficiency, accurate control of its striking energy, and multi station forging of Minghui Electric Screw press. It is a kind of precision forging equipment with high cost performance ratio and development potential.

The electric Screw press produced by Minghui Company mostly adopts the belt or gear transmission mode driven by two motors. The motor drives the flywheel and screw to rotate faster through the small pulley or pinion, and the screw rotation is transformed into the up and down reciprocating motion of the pulley through the screw pair. After receiving the strike command, the motor starts from a stationary state and drives the pulley to accelerate down through transmission. When the pre-set strike energy is reached, the kinetic energy stored in the flywheel is used to do work and shape the workpiece. After the flywheel releases energy, the motor immediately reverses and drives the pulley back to a certain height, entering a braking state, causing the pulley to return to the predetermined stroke position.

The outstanding advantage of the electric Screw press is its high degree of automation. As long as the user sets up the stroke and strike energy on the man-machine interface, other calculations and controls can only be automatically completed by the control system of the press.
